Understanding Your Havells Cooler
Why does the “Collapsible Louver” get stuck?
Havells coolers like the Celia feature unique collapsible louvers that close when the cooler is off to prevent dust entry. Over time, dust accumulation in the tracks or a weak stepper motor can cause them to jam halfway. Do not force them open by hand as this breaks the gears. Call us to service the mechanism.
Electronic Panel vs. Knobs
Models like the Altima use a digital PCB (Printed Circuit Board). If your cooler beeps but doesn’t start, or changes speeds randomly, it’s usually a capacitor issue on the PCB caused by voltage fluctuations in Vadodara. We repair these boards instead of replacing the entire unit.
Breatheezee™ Pads Maintenance
Havells uses processed honeycomb pads designed to be hydrophilic (water-loving). Using bore water can cause calcium buildup (scaling) that blocks airflow. We recommend a chemical wash service once a year to dissolve this scale and extend pad life.

The “Water Empty” alarm is beeping even when full.
This is a common issue with the water sensor (float switch). It might be stuck due to salt/dirt. We can clean or replace the sensor to stop the false alarm.
