Stop Air Cooler Water Leakage Instantly
Is water dripping from the sides, leaking from the tank, or spitting from the fan? We fix cracked tanks, align pipes, and seal joints for a mess-free summer.
Why is Your Cooler Leaking?
Identify the source of the mess.
Cracked Tank
Plastic tanks crack over time due to heat or impact. Steel tanks develop rust holes.
Pad Misalignment
If grass/honeycomb pads are loose or shifting, water splashes outside instead of flowing down.
Fan Spitting
Water droplets flying from the front? High motor speed or water falling on fan blades causes this.
Pipe Blockage
Blocked distribution pipes cause overflow at one point, leading to heavy leakage.
Professional Leakage Solutions
Plastic Tank Welding
We use specialized heat guns and plastic filler rods to seal cracks in Symphony/Kenstar cooler bodies permanently.
Epoxy Sealing (M-Seal/Araldite)
For small leaks and rust holes in steel bodies, we apply industrial-grade waterproof epoxy.
Pipe Realignment
We adjust or replace the water distribution pipes to ensure water falls on the pads, not outside.
Leakage Repair Charges
| Repair Type | Description | Est. Cost (INR) |
|---|---|---|
| General Leakage Check | Pipe Cleaning + Pad Setting | ₹250 |
| Plastic Tank Crack Repair | Heat Welding / Patching | ₹350 – ₹600 |
| Steel Tank Waterproofing | Epoxy Coating for Rust Holes | ₹400 – ₹800 |
| Distribution Pipe Change | New PVC Pipes & Nozzles | ₹200 – ₹400 |
*Prices depend on the size of the crack and material needed.
How to Stop Water Spitting from Fan?
One of the most common complaints we receive is “My cooler fan is throwing water droplets on the bed.” This is annoying and can damage your electronics. Here is why it happens and how we fix it:
1. Motor Speed is Too High
If you have installed a local high-speed kit motor in a small branded cooler body, the suction is too strong. It pulls water droplets from the pads into the fan. Fix: We install a speed regulator or change the capacitor to optimize RPM.
2. “Jali” (Pad) is Clogged
If the honeycomb/grass pads are choked with calcium, air cannot pass through them easily. The fan creates a vacuum, sucking water instead of air. Fix: Deep cleaning or replacing the pads.
3. Water Falling on Blades
Sometimes the top water pipe leaks directly onto the fan motor or blades. As the blade spins, it sprays this water out. Fix: We secure the internal piping with clamps.
Pro Tip for Plastic Tanks:
Never try to seal a cracked plastic tank with just M-Seal or Super Glue. It will peel off when water touches it. Plastic welding (melting the surface to bond it) is the only permanent solution.
